We want you to love every order from Cecilia Bakery. If something isn't right or you need to cancel,
this policy outlines when and how refunds are handled. We aim to be fair, transparent, and prompt
with every request.

Our Refund Commitment
Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do at Cecilia Bakery. We stand behind the quality of our products and want every experience to be a positive one.
- Refunds are available for all eligible cancellations and order issues
- Every refund request is reviewed fairly and handled promptly
- If we make a mistake or can't fulfill your order, you'll always receive a full refund
Section 02
Eligible Refunds
A full refund will be issued in the following situations:
- You cancel your order within 15 minutes of placing it
- Cecilia Bakery cancels the order for any reason (e.g., capacity, unexpected closure)
- Your order could not be fulfilled due to product unavailability
- You received an incorrect order that does not match what was placed
15-minute window: You have 15 minutes from the moment your order is confirmed to request a cancellation for a full refund — no questions asked.
Section 03
Non-Refundable Situations
Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds in the following cases:
- Order already picked up — once you have collected your order, it is no longer eligible for a refund
- Late cancellation — cancellation requests made after the 15-minute window cannot be honored, as preparation may have already begun
- Custom cake orders — custom cakes are non-refundable once preparation has started, as these items are made specifically to your request
- Change of mind — if more than 15 minutes have passed since your order was placed, we cannot issue a refund for a change of mind

How to Request a Refund
If you need to cancel your order and request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Call us directly at the bakery as soon as possible — ideally within the 15-minute cancellation window
- Provide your details — your name and order information so we can locate your order quickly
- Receive confirmation — we will confirm the cancellation and let you know the refund has been initiated
Phone is the fastest way to reach us for time-sensitive cancellation requests. Please do not rely on email for cancellations, as we may not see it within the 15-minute window.

Refund Processing
Once a refund has been approved, here's what to expect:
- Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only — the same credit or debit card used to place the order
- Depending on your bank, the refund may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your card statement
- We are unable to issue refunds to a different card, bank account, or payment method
If you haven't seen your refund after 10 business days, please contact us and we'll look into it for you.
